Today is the last day of 2011! I am both happy and sad... 

I'm excited to start the New Year with my amazing new husband but I'm also sad to see the most amazing year of my life go... But I know 2012 has some amazing adventures in store for me!

Since I've already done my "Highlights of 2011" post, I figured I'd finish off the year with a fun post... 15 random facts about Moi!

Also... if anyone wants to swap buttons, I have one now! The lovely Alana from Life & Times of the Intelligent Blonde was kind enough to give me some tips on making the button & swap with me! 

Now... on to the 15 Facts!

1. What's a nickname only your family calls you? 

Bubble Butt... hahaha My dad has always called me that!

2. What's a weird habit of yours? 

CONSTANTLY cracking my back and knuckles... I hate hate hate the feeling that my bones NEED to pop... so I just pop them all the time. Probably not too healthy :\

3. Do you have any weird phobias?

Not super weird. I'm just superrr claustrophobic... I blame it on my 2 older cousins who used to put me in suitcases, zip 'em up, and leave me! :( 

4. What's a song you secretly LOVE to blast and belt out when you're alone?

Strawberry Wine! oh and pretty much anything on the iTunes Glee Radio Station! bahahaha :) 

5. What's one of your biggest pet peeves? 

Hearing people chew/chomp/smack! Ew... just makes my skin crawl!

6. What's one of your nervous habits? 

Yawning.. so weird. I don't know why! 

7. What side of the bed do you sleep on? 

The right side (if you're looking at it)

8. What was your first stuffed animal; it's name?

A gorilla from my dad... no idea what it's name was...

9. What's the drink you ALWAYS order at starbucks? 

White Chocolate Mocha! I'm still having withdrawals since there is no Starbucks on the island...

10. What is your middle name?

Michelle.

11. Which way do you face in the shower? 

Well... that depends on what I'm rinsing/washing...

12. Do you have any 'weird' body 'skills'?

My shoulders and hips are both double jointed, I have a very long tongue... and I can lick my elbow? hahaha

13. What's your favorite 'comfort food'/food thats 'bad' but you love to eat it anyways? 

Hmm... I can't really think of anything... But if drinks fit in this category, I'd say Cokes :)

14. What's a phrase or exclamation you always say? 

"Oh Heavens!" or "Bless it!" hahaha 

15. Time to sleep- what are you ACTUALLY wearing? 

Soffee shorts & a Hanes white v-neck tee :)

It's Ok...

... to get extremely excited about new followers... Yay for hitting & breaking the 75 followers mark!

... that I have been treating this "Christmas Break" like a legit break (sleeping late, doing nothing, eating tons of food, etc) even though my life is basically a vacay right now (with the exception of online classes)... oops! Even trophy housewives deserve some downtime though, right?

... that I spent over $100 on the Victoria's Secret website last night... on SWIMSUITS. Need I remind you it's DECEMBER? lol What can I say, they're having a HUGE sale and I had a 20% off & free shipping code...
(p.s. all info is on the VS website but the 20% off swimsuit code is only valid through TODAY!)

... to be super excited about said swimsuits and sad that they wont be here until Jan. 30th... as if I need them before then? lols

... to enjoy creeping on others' FaceBook timelines but not be sure if I'm ready to take the plunge and change to timeline myself!

... that I let "smalltown gossip" get to me... even though I'm 4,000 miles away from the source. But seriously, I'm not pregnant and I AM happy in Sicily... so shut your mouth you stupidfacebiotch

... to not be loving Aaron's new "extreme bodybuilding diet" (which I am of course not taking part in but still suffering from..) I don't enjoy eating PLAIN chicken and broccoli every night :( I also do not enjoy not cooking my southern recipes & baking cupcakes! Sad sad day...

... to love reading day-old horoscopes to see if they came true... lols

Highlights of My Year: 2011

January:

I wrang in the New Year...

playing in the snow

and welcoming this little nugget into the world!

 February:

I celebrated Valentine's Day SINGLE...

but my coworkers kept me smiling with yummy treats!

oh and I did lots of schoolwork... Thanks UGA.

Boring life, eh?

March:

I ate SUSHI for the very fist time!

March 10: I "officially" started dating Aaron... my FUTURE HUSBAND!

(we had been "talking" for almost a month...)

I also celebrated St. Patty's day in style...

With my future Bridesmaid Audrey 

(and we didn't even know it at the time!)

 April:

I received a dozen BEAUTIFUL pink roses from my then-boyfriend, Aaron :)

with a wonderful note telling of the "surprises" he had in store for me...

little did I know he meant A RING!!

We celebrated this little Princess's 4th Birthday

May:

I prepared for a HUGE adventure...

I flew to Sicily to visit AARON!

June:

June was spent working my butt off at my job, 

wedding planning (only 3 months to plan!), 

fun times with friends, spending time with family,

slowly starting to pack up my entire life,

and as much "quality" skype time with Aaron as possible!

Bella Mae enjoyed trips home to see family... but she was so over late nights of wedding planning!

Cheap Wine & Appetizer Trays and wedding magazines on top of my moving boxes :)  And  working  wedding planning AT work... hehehehe 

Aaron sent me goodies from all of his travels... spoiling me from thousands of miles away... while I was home assembling, stuffing, addressing, licking, sealing, stamping, and sending 200 wedding invites... all by myself :(

I worked my butt off around the clock for my bosses... but found time to have fun with my bridesmaids :)

And my wonderful MOH & BMs threw me a Lingerie Shower! (Mexican Theme!!!)

I got lots of sexy goodies... for Aaron's eyes onlyyyyy! 

WHEW! June was crazyyyyy!!!

July:

I celebrated my first July 4th as a Military Spouse...

and loved on all my little munchkins :)

My BM, Megan, threw me the most amazing BACHELORETTE PARTY...

I moved to Sicily, Italy!

We explored the island...

and I turned 21 years old!!

September:

We went to VENICE!

October:

We went to BARCELONA, Spain!

In Gaudi's Park Guell, overlooking Barcelona... amazing.

I also took a 2 week trip home to GA....

 I loved on the people (and puppy) that I missed so much...

I went on a pumpkin patch fieldtrip with minime... And I was in a beautiful wedding!

And Aaron & I celebrated our FIRST Halloween...

November:

We took a trip to...

PARIS!

 

And BELGIUM!

And we also celebrated our very first Married Thanksgiving :)

 We baked this masterpiece of a pie together... and completely forgot to take ANY other pictures together... hahaha :)

December:

We had an AMAZING First Married Christmas!!!

 We made memories in our Villa that we can someday tell our children, celebrated Sicilian style, and had fun times with our friends that are more like "family" here...

All in all, 2011 has been the BEST year of my life so far...

I am definitely looking forward to 2012 here in Sicily with my new husband though!

So, here's to 2012 and all the new adventures that I am SURE it will bring...
